Expectations is a pop song about the *ridiculous* demands we place on our partners; how we need them to think we’re the best, how they’re going to fix all our problems. Of course they never do. A semi-serious, freshly produced pop bop with a narrative that asks:

Am I in love with you, or my expectations?

Co-written by Nathan Nicholson (Vampire Diaries, One Tree Hill; singer in The Boxer Rebellion), produced by Sam Winfield (Amber Run, BMTH) and released on independent Dutch label Revanche Records.

‘Expectations’ is the 1st single from James Walker’s 3rd album, which has been funded by Arts Council England
