you can't experience something for the first time twice.
the little moments that make up our even littler lives are often the most significant of all.
second time valentine is a recognition of that.
a realisation that every moment is leaving its imprint on you in each fleeting flutter of your existence.

i wrote this song a few years ago reflecting on a very particular time in my life, but after sitting with it a while i recognise that it's about everything other than that time. the experiences of the years before today have brought me to today, and today will bring me to tomorrow, and tomorrow i will remember to appreciate it more.
